UPVC pipe fitting installation instructions and notes

UPVC pipe installation needs to be glued with UPVC glue. installation instructions and notes are as follows

1. The pipe end shall be cut flat and perpendicular to the pipe axis, and the fixed pipe box and handsaw or pipe cutter can be used.

2. Remove the broken particles inside and outside the PVC Pipe, and chamfer (10-15 degrees) Upvc Pipe Clean

3. Wipe off the dust, oil stain and moisture at the place where the pvc pipe and pvc pipe fittings need to be coated with glue. Moisture, dust, and oil can affect bond strength.

5. Start bonding

First, apply a thin layer of pre adhesive on the Outer surface of the upvc pipe and the inner face of the UPVC Pipe Fitting then apply a thin layer of UPVC glue on the Outer surface of the upvc pipe and the inner face of the UPVC pipe fitting, then apply a layer of UPVC glue on the Outer surface of the upvc pipe and the inner face of the UPVC pipe fitting, then push the pipe into the pipe fitting quickly before the glue dry.

Note that the glue should be evenly applied, not too much, not too little, too little will make the bonding not strong, too much will make the glue flow into the pipe fitting and cause blockage. When inserting the pipe, first insert the pipe horizontally at the depth of 2 / 3 of the socket depth, then slowly push the pipe into the bottom of the pipe while rotating the pipe.

Compress the bonded pipe for 3 minutes to prevent the pipe from being pushed out, wipe off the excess glue at the outer face, and then place the bonded pipe statically until the glue solidifies before moving. The adhesive pipe must wait for the glue to dry before it can take hydraulic test..
